Haili - and the baby is adopted into a sane well to do family who raises him to be a pillar of society. He never asks about his biological mother or his surrogate mother and lives in happy ignorance of any Windass clan. smile

Maddie and Sophie gang up and murder Tina! They both go off to jail. Happy ending.

Or Owen, Anna, Faye, Gary, Izzy and especially Katy beat her to death and all go to jail. Alternate happy ending!

I can dream, can't I?

I should be working but had to chime in and say one of the commercials that truly annoys me is the one where the "young" man is buying chewing gum for his girlfriend and an "old" lady is advising him on what women like. We're supposed to infer that he's buying condoms and that an "old" lady would even know what a condom is, much less speak about them in such frank terms is hilariously funny. Not. Just blatantly ageist in my opinion but then I'm over fifty and a sizable chunk of the population would say that fact alone renders my opinion worthless.

Yeah, I needed to rant. Don't pay any attention to me. Next time I promise I'll stick to Corrie topics.

Let the killer be Gary, who can then be gone from the show. He would be saving his son from Tina's clutches, as she has a breakdown and abducts him. But he goes to far, and is put in a mental hospital himself. The rest of the Windy bunch moves closer to him. But Izzy will not forgive and stays on the street.

Izzy is free then to stay on the show and have more stories.

Alright, I know that won't happen...

I too think that the usual soap story would be Simon, who will come back a messed up teenager at a later date. As someone else suggested, the new David.

I don't want to lose Rob, Steve, Carla, etc. So I don't want to guess any of them.

Joanne - I was disappointed.frown Expected a tight muscled fit body and got a stodgy run of the mill torso instead. He was a good sport though! As he is playing the part of a personal trainer who runs every day I am surprised they let him reveal his unfit body.

Lise: Which commercial is that? I don't think I've seen it, and am not sure we get OKA cheeses out here (but then I have never looked for them either).

Liza, good thinking about the killer not being Simon. Michelle Keegan would probably not think that was a great idea. Yes, it's odd that the guess work is being done before the crime. Fun though.

I'm on edge wondering when Carla will find out about Tina and Peter. So many people on the street know. It's odd for a secret to survive so long without the person who's most affected hearing about it. They're such a gabby bunch.

I know Toronto has a certain image across Canada and hate to play into it, but yesterday I was on an express bus that only stopped at major intersections. A man got angry that the driver wouldn't let him out in between so when he did get off he stood in front of the bus and wouldn't let it go until the police came to remove him. roll eyes (sarcastic)

The gym makes a change from the usual meeting/eating/drinking places and a good setting for comedy.

It seems that people are a lot more interested in Tina's demise than any of the other story lines - and it hasn't even happened yet! I think it will probably be a fight or shoving match that ends badly and nothing pre-meditated - but the writers could fool me.

Mark: you might also like the Sunlight unscented liquid. I'm allergic to Tide.

David's reaction to Maria's actions is what interests me lately. How can he stand by and see all the upset it's causing for Tyrone and Fizz? Then again, it's David and he might enjoy it.

Another reason I doubt it would be Simon (amongst too many to list here)... Michelle Keegan said she was intrigued and excited when she was told about the idea writers came up with for her departure. I think if she heard it was Simon, her reaction would be much like most people's - that it would be sad rather than a "great idea". I mean geez, if that child is on the list of suspects, why not just add Eccles to the list too? Yes I'm being facetious. I'll add Eccles to my list of those who I think definitely didn't do it.

I find the idea of Simon doing it to be more farfetched than the idea of manslaughter (which they say given the right circumstances, many people could find themselves in that situation even if they don't have the mind of a killer). Tracy may have planned the murder she committed, but that's not how many killings happen.

I really doubt they want to do that to Simon. That would just be strange and too much of a long shot. Just my opinion, but in my book I think I can safely eliminate both Roy and Simon.

I hadn't even considered that it might be Simon. Being that he's a child they'll go relatively easy on him and he could go away for a bit for psych treatment and come back in a few years fit as a fiddle and ready to wreak some more havoc on the street! (I still wonder about Kirstie, she was Tina's worst enemy! They don't plan to bring Kirstie back so far as I know, so it's probably not her but wouldn't it make sense if she came back to get revenge on Tina, who caused her so much agro? And none of the regulars would have to go off to prison for the crime!)

What about adding Tony to the list of possible suspects? I know he doesn't have much to do with Tina now. But for all we know she could overhear a conversation she isn't supposed to, or some way or another stumble upon his illegal dealings and he may want to keep her from talking. I'm letting my imagination run wild now, but anything is possible depending on what the writers have decided.

The Ladbrokes list gives no odds for Dennis who is now back on our screens for a brief stay. Since he will be leaving again that must put him in the running for the whodunnit. What him motive would be is questionable but if Tina upsets Rita he might get the wild notion to revenge for her. No way would Rita murder Tina.

Agree with haili, today's show didn't move any of the present storylines on very much but it did tell us that Nick thinks he and Leanne will get back together eventually. Am liking the new setting of the gym, a great meeting place for all the folks on the street.

Mark, Tide has unscented liquid soap for laundry which works very well and Bounce has a scent free dryer sheet that leaves no perfume. I have used them for years and they work very well. If you can hang yout shirts outside in the fresh air that is also a lovely way for a clean, fresh wash that won't clash with your manly smell. : )

Marion: it must be a lot of work to be young these days what with all the hair removal and body shapers, etc. Body shapers used to be called girdles a few decades ago. It seems that women go to a lot more trouble these days than we ever did. Some of us remember the 60s when bras were burned and girdles were sneered at; times sure have changed!

I don't like the feminine hygiene ads either but the one that bugs me the most these days is the one with the French waiter and the woman who loves his accent and the husband who thinks Toronto is near Quebec. The absolute most annoying one is the cash for life lottery and I always mute it.

It felt like not much happened on Corrie today except for Kal dancing with his shirt off and kissing Leanne. Rob and Tracy could get in deep doo doo with those goods from Tony but maybe they'll have time to get married first.

In terms of feminine product commercials. Actually there was a large enough age gap between my mother and I, that the products had completely changed (if you know what I mean). Thanks to ads on TV in the early 70s, I was able to ask my mother for products that she had never used.
