Pam: Get ready for more shovelling!LOL I headed out for groceries at 9 while it was calm. Roads were good, just slushy. Now the snow is back with a vengeance! Do you drive in the snow? I do, but I stayed put yesterday. Love my winter tires! They make all the differnce!

I try to avoid driving in the snow, following really bad accident some years ago. I was all set to drive to Save on Foods this morning during the lull . But we had a repair guy here fixing one of our gas fireplaces. Thought he would be up and gone in no time. But no, the snow was once again coming down hard before he left .
My husband took pity on me and drove me to the store.
I see they are predicting up to another six inches tonight .
I swear we have one of the longest driveways in maple Ridge, and ii am sick of shoveling.
I am so done with this winter already.

Hi West Coasters,

I hope the snowstorm doesn't last too long. As a former Lower Mainland resident, I recall that that is one of the benefits of living there: snow doesn't last forever, as it sometimes seems to in the rest of the country. wink

Stay safe and stay warm.

I dislike slush more than snow, which is what west coasters usually get in spades. But I'm done with winter and so looking forward to spring! I especially look forward to more light and longer days. For pedestrians and cyclists, winter is a dangerous time of year esp.
